Our patients can also enjoy the convenience of having a state-of-the-art, fully-accredited outpatient surgery center right here at Georgia Neurosurgical Institute’s main office in Macon. Procedures that were once only done with overnight hospital stays can now be performed in the peaceful, easily accessible environment of GNI’s Surgery Center, which is complemented by the caring and compassionate attention of staff that is solely dedicated to it. 99% of the surgery center patients give 5 star satisfaction ratings for treatments and procedures done there. With dramatically decreased recovery time, patients are able to get back to work and other activities more quickly.

Through the surgery center, we are able to do a variety of spinal procedures, SI Joint fusions, implantation of spinal cord stimulators and intrathecal pumps, as well as carpal tunnel and ulnar nerve releases, and neck, back and joint pain blocks. Additionally, the GNI Surgery Center is one of only 2 centers in the state that is utilizing robotic technology for spine procedures; equipment that is typically only found in a hospital setting.
