Dr. Joe Sam Robinson Participates in 16th Annual EANS Meeting

Macon, GA, September 24, 2016 – Georgia Neurosurgical Institute, with practice offices in Macon, Warner Robins, Dublin and Milledgeville, today announced the recent trip of Dr. Joe Sam Robinson, Jr. to Athens, Greece for the European Association of Neurosurgical Societies’ Annual Meeting. Dr. Robinson, Jr., of Georgia Neurosurgical Institute, participated as a faculty member in the 16th Annual Meeting which took place from September 4-8th.

Dr. Robinson chaired a scientific session dedicated to the surgical management of complex pathologies regarding the cranio-vertebral junction (where the skull meets the spine) during which experts from all over the world presented their results and experience regarding the surgical management of degenerative and traumatic pathologies, which may affect the cranio-vertebral junction and, thus, destabilize the complex connection of the head to the vertebral column.

The meeting was well-attended with more than 2,000 neurosurgeons from all over the world participating and presenting cutting-edge basic science, translational, and clinical research in the fields of neurosurgery and clinical neurosciences.
